The NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Construction Site Supervision is designed for those that work in the construction sector as assistant site managers or supervisors.  On completion learners will be able to apply for the CSCS gold site supervisor card.

Entry Requirements:

The qualification assesses the learners competence in their current role, therefore, in order to meet the assessment criteria, candidates should be working in the role of supervisor / assistant site manager within a construction environment.

NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Construction Site Supervision - Course content and delivery:

The learner will be assessed using a range of methods tailored to the learners needs.  These vary from on-site assessments, observations, written questions, evidence generated from the workplace, professional discussion, and witness testimonials.

Course Content - Mandatory Units:

• Maintaining Systems for Health, Safety, Welfare and Environmental Protection in the Workplace
• Assessing and Recommending Work Methods for Carrying Out Site Operations in the Workplace
• Planning Activities and Resources to Meet Work Requirements in the Workplace
• Coordinating and Organising the Control of Work in the Workplace
• Controlling Work Progress Against Agreed Programmes in the Workplace
• Allocating and Monitoring the Use of Plant, Equipment or Machinery in the Workplace
