Who is the NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations Management for?

The NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction Contracting Operations Management is aimed at experienced managers within the construction industry who are not site based.  This route is suitable for Contracts Managers, Company Owners/Directors Commercial Managers. On completion learners will be able to apply for the CSCS black site managers card.

Entry Requirements:

The qualification assesses the learners competence in their role, therefore, in order to meet the assessment criteria candidates should be working in a role that will allow them to demonstrate the skills, knowledge and practice required to achieve the units.

NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Construction  Contracting Operations Management  - Course content and delivery:

The learner will be assessed using a range of methods tailored to the learners needs.  These vary from on-site assessments, observations, written questions, evidence generated from the workplace, professional discussion, and witness testimonials.

Course Content - Mandatory Units:

• Maintain health, safety and welfare systems in construction
• Manage the performance of teams and individuals in construction
• Chair meetings and take decisions in construction
• Enhance working relationships in construction
  

Candidates must complete ALL of the Mandatory units, plus the Mandatory/Optional requirements from one of the Pathways:
