The Process:

Evidence is gathered by means of; videos, photographs, On-site assessments, observations, written questions, workplace documents, professional discussions, witness testimonies.  
Your assessor will support you throughout the process. Evidence is uploaded and assessed via an E Portfolio whereby you can track your progress throughout.

The Result:

On completion of the NVQ, you will be able to apply for a blue 'skilled worker' cscs card. The CSCS will ask for proof of your NVQ certificate along with proof of a HS&E operatives test pass within the last 2 years.

The Level 2 NVQ Drylining course provides a nationally recognised qualification for those working in the construction and the built environment sector working across a broad range of areas. It is designed to assess occupational competence in the workplace where candidates are required to demonstrate skills and knowledge to a level required within the construction industry.

Who is the Drylining NVQ Level 2 course for?

The NVQ Level 2 Drylining course is designed for those that work in the construction sector as dry lining fixers, finishers, or any other interior systems occupation. The qualification allows learners to demonstrate their competence in order to apply for the blue CSCS card, needed to be recognised as a skilled worker within the construction industry.

Entry Requirements for the Drylining NVQ:

The qualification will assess a learner’s competence in their current job role. Learners must be aged 16+ and be working in a role that will allow them to demonstrate their competence against the units below.

NVQ Level 2 in Interior Systems - Drylining - Course content and delivery:

The Drylining learner will be assessed using a range of methods tailored to the learner's needs. These vary from on-site assessments, observations, written questions, evidence generated from the workplace, professional discussion, and witness testimonials.

How long will the Dry Lining NVQ take to complete?

This Drylining NVQ course will take roughly 2 to 6 months to complete. However, this can depend on your skills, knowledge, motivation, circumstances, and ability to provide the assessor with the correct attributes needed to pass the Dry Lining qualification. Once all of these aspects are met, you will receive your blue CSCS card and become a skilled worker in the construction industry.
